Dento Ryu Instructors
Sensei Harvey
Sensei Harvey has been the head Sensei since Dento-Ryu first started. Harvey received his Black Belt rank with GKR before moving to Mudgee and starting Dento Ryu. As a Sensei with GKR Harvey taught many talented students and a world cup winner. Since moving to mudgee he has produced many black belts and ISKA Champions.
Sensei Vaughn
Senior Sensei Vaughn commenced training in TaeKwonDo in the early 80s receiving his black belt before moving to Karate under Sensei Harvey. Since joining Dento Ryu Sensei Vaughn has become a level three ISKA referee and Produced a world champion in the ISKA world cup in 2014. He continues to train and teach reaching Nidan in 2015.
Sensei Tarnie
Sensei Tarnie started her martial arts career with TaeKwonDo and held NSW, Australian and Australiasian Titles three years in a row. She moved to Karate in 2010 and became our youngest black belt in 2014 and our first Junior Sensei. She is now a full sensei in her own right and loves to teach.
Sensei Tayla
Sensei Tayla started with the club in when we first opened in Gulgong. She trained hard and quickly became a Sempi. She became a Sensei in 2015 and obtained her Black Belt in December of that year. Sensei Tayla is the Friday Night Gulgong Sensei
Sensei Elisha
Sensei Elisha also started with the club when we opened our Gulgong Dojo, She trained hard and was offered Sempi status at the same time as Tayla. She also Progressed to Sensei in 2015. Elisha obtained her Black Belt in September 2015. Sensei Elisha is the Wednesday Night Gulgong Sensei
Sempi Kelly
Sempi Kelly started with Dento Ryu when we opened our Cooyal Dojo. She progressed to become our Cooyal Sempi in 2015 and is also the Friday night Gulgong Sempi as of 2016.
Sempi Nathaniel
Sempi Nathaniel was another one of our Gulgong student who started when we commenced out there. He was offered the Sempi's job in Mudgee in 2015 and he accepted. He achieved his Black Belt in December 2015
